FCC Lafayette, LA. Here's a Funny. 'Marriage and Husbands'.
'Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right, and the other is usually the husband.'
When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I should get it fixed. Somehow I always had something else to take care of first: the truck, the car, email, fishing, always something more important to me. Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point. When I arrived home one day, I found her in the tall grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors. I watched silently for a short time and then went into the house. I was gone only a few minutes. When I came out again I handed her a toothbrush. 'When you finish cutting the grass,' I said, 'you might as well sweep the driveway.' The doctors say I will walk again, but I will always have a limp.

SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, October 9th! Not sure what we’re going to call it yet but for now we will refer to it as our “bazaar”. We are renting out 30 booths…if anyone knows someone who is “artsy-crafty” and would like a booth, have them contact Ann Dowd @343-6592 or Janet Williams @345-2633. We will serve lunch for a small donation; have a church “market” that we would like everyone to donate towards---artwork, crafts, homemade items, handmade items, frames, pictures, wreaths, floral arrangements, etc. This is a fundraiser where all profits will be given to the church to help out where needed. Please keep this project in your prayers as we plan, implement, succeed and give God the Glory!!
